Nobody’s history

“Not today, honey, she said. Because today I want to watch the ceiling and hope it doesn’t fall down on me.”

And what do you care anyway? Today doesn’t even exist. There are so may yesterdays, so many tomorrows … but how many todays do we have? Today is only a glimpse, an eyelash touching another. Not even a breath in the Earth’s life. Not even a word, just a sound, a sound which doesn’t even have an echo that lasts.  'Cause even though you may think it has an echo, no my dear, it doesn’t, at least not for anybody else.

Can’t you see, we are only bits of seconds in time’s path? We appear and disappear like seasons do every year. Our tomorrows become yesterdays, and our yesterdays become history. Nobody’s history. Just...”once upon a time, other people had tomorrows.” And right now, we are those people, not for long though. I’m not telling you this so you can take advantage of all the time you have left , enjoy the moment and all that crap, no my dear. I’m telling you this so you can realize that even though I may never forget you, this is insignificant, because nobody will remember you…
